Outfit 01.17.12 (Practice)
January 17, 2012
I recently purchased a Canon RC-6 wireless remote from Amazon. The remote itself was cheap (about $13), but it runs on a Lithium battery, which is insanely expensive ($15 for a pack of 2). Here’s why the purchase was necessary – one of my new year’s resolutions was to start taking daily photographs of my outfits. This goal, however, was difficult to accomplish because I have no friends. Which is where the remote comes in: I can stand far, far away from the camera, press the button in my hand, hear the camera make a soft grinding noise as it auto-focuses on me, and snap a picture.
I tried the remote out for the first time today. It was a cold day, and I woke up sick and wanting to look like Ellen DeGeneres. The focus was off for most of the pics. I also made the mistake of choosing a messy background. Will try to step up my game tomorrow.
